Together with its consortium partners, Dornier Consulting GmbH (Lead Partner), Louis Berger SAS, Philadelphia Consulting Group and Comito & Assocati, WAGENER & HERBST won the “Technical Assistance to Support the Ministry of Transport in Jordan in Implementation of the Transport and Trade Facilitation Program” EuropeAid / 129172 / D / SER / JO “.
The EU-funded project runs from September 2010 to February 2013. The objectives are to strengthen the Ministry in developing, tendering and implementing projects to promote trade and transport in Jordan. To this end, organizational solutions and training measures are developed and introduced together with the Ministry of Transport, as well as a secretariat for the National Committee for the Promotion of Trade and Transport. Priority investment projects will prepare and accompany tenders for tenders.
W&H’s focus is primarily on personnel development and organizational solutions. The kick-off meeting of the project took place on 26 September 2010 under the direction of the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Transport, Excellence Eng. Mohannad S. Qudah.
