The PVG Burgenlandkreis mbH Weißenfels, which has just been merged from two predecessor companies (now the only local transport company for bus traffic throughout Burgenlandkreis), has launched the “Integration and Process Optimization” project at the beginning of 2013.
The project runs until December 2013. WAGENER & HERBST Management Consultants GmbH Potsdam supports through expert advice and moderation. The main focus of the project is:
- Creation of a uniform, optimized organizational structure with clear profit-sharing,
- Determination of transparent and largely uniform, optimized processes in transport, engineering, procurement and scheduling,
- Establishment of a systematic measurement and improvement process for the company’s core services and on-site anchoring (Shopfloor Management)
- Ensuring conformity of the established regulations with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 and EN 13816 (service quality in public transport).
The aim is to bring “the best of both worlds” with the employees into the organization and culture of the new company.
