Personenverkehrsgesellschaft Burgenlandkreis relies on integration and process optimization

The PVG Burgenlandkreis mbH Weißenfels, which has just be­en mer­ged from two pre­de­ces­sor com­pa­nies (now the on­ly lo­cal trans­port com­pa­ny for bus traf­fic th­roug­hout Burgenlandkreis), has laun­ched the “Integration and Process Optimization” pro­ject at the be­gin­ning of 2013.

The pro­ject runs un­til December 2013. WAGENER & HERBST Management Consultants GmbH Potsdam sup­ports th­rough ex­pert ad­vice and mo­de­ra­ti­on. The main fo­cus of the pro­ject is:

  • Creation of a uni­form, op­ti­mi­zed or­ga­niza­tio­nal struc­tu­re wi­th clear profit-sharing,
  • Determination of trans­pa­rent and lar­ge­ly uni­form, op­ti­mi­zed pro­ces­ses in trans­port, en­gi­nee­ring, pro­cu­re­ment and scheduling,
  • Establishment of a sys­te­ma­tic me­a­su­re­ment and im­pro­ve­ment pro­cess for the company’s co­re ser­vices and on-site an­cho­ring (Shopfloor Management)
  • Ensuring con­for­mi­ty of the es­tab­lished re­gu­la­ti­ons wi­th DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 and EN 13816 (ser­vice qua­li­ty in pu­blic transport).

The aim is to bring “the best of bo­th worlds” wi­th the em­ployees in­to the or­ga­niza­ti­on and cul­tu­re of the new company.
